About Jenny Abel R.Ac., R.TCM.P

I see Illness as a message, a wake up call. The body’s ability to heal is amazing, especially when we listen to the messages the body gives us.

Offering Acupuncture in a gentle, intuitive way, my priority is your comfort and holding a safe healing space to help connect you to your own innate healing power. I also love empowering patients with lifestyle ideas, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diet therapy, meditations, resources, and sharing the healing powers of TCM herbs.

Having studied Acupuncture and TCM Herbology at the Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine(formerly International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Vancouver), I have also completed numerous continuing education courses in my field, including advanced training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with Michelle Gellis. I received extensive one-on-one TCM Herbalist mentor-ship from Elaine Li. I am in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA).

In addition to TCM studies, for the past 14 years I have been fortunate to have direct study with Mada Dalian, a modern buddha, mystic, and master healer. This experience is life changing, and brings a deeper awareness of the pivotal role repressed emotions play in our health, and the importance of addressing the mind, body, and spirit to truly heal.

When not in clinic I enjoy hiking and exploring coastal trails, adoring animals, spending time with loved ones, and practicing active meditations.

I am grateful to share the wisdom of TCM. If you are wanting to take charge of your health and well-being I would be delighted and honored to share that journey with you.

“I recently had the chance to try acupuncture for the first time and I could have not asked for a better acupuncturist than Jenny. I have been amazed by the changes I have seen so far, even after the very first session, and by discovering how willing and open my body is to the treatment. Jenny’s knowledge and dedication to her profession got me very fast results! She sincerely cares about her patients and recommends the most individualized treatment plan to get them where they want to be. I am looking forward to continuing my treatment with her, and keep learning about the world of Chinese Medicine!” Yazmine
